Since 1956 Southgate Recreation & Park District (SRPD) has provided the community with public parks, recreation services, facilities, and an 18-hole championship golf course. Throughout the years, our community has seen the evolution of the South Sacramento area; its growing and changing business base, incredible residential growth, and the District’s emphasis on preserving open space and creating walkable communities.

Location :  Backstage of the Jose P. Rizal Community Center, 7320 Florin Mall Drive

Enjoy a beautiful evening under the stars on the back stage of the Jose Rizal Community Center watching a Disney Family Classic with family and friends.  Bring a blanket, lawn chair, snacks and drinks to enjoy the first in our three movie summer series done in partnership with Southgate Library.
